Re: Agile has nothing to do with Lean. I agree in terms of origins but I don't agree in terms of overlap of some, though not all concepts. This would probably require it's own post to explain.

The misconception phenomenon happens with everything, including Lean. It happens with all "biologically difficult" topics.

My rebuttal is based on facts, references, and yes, observed practice over 20 years. This does not mean that Burnett's personal observations are incorrect. It does mean that some of his claims are.
